I resolve not to politicize my life or see it through a lens of -isms. People are people, jerks sometimes, sad and lonely and insecure and I get that. I don't really care about why someone doesn't like me or feels the need to put me down or ignores me when I'm talking.
I don't have time to worry about other people's hangups or call anyone out or generalize behavior - I just need to focus on developing my own talent, skills, and character and be as kind, fair, and honest as I can.
